So this must be what it feels like for Iowa fans about to play Minnesota in football.

I would hate to live in Iowa, but don't hate the program. The program is down, but they have had more success than MN over the past 10-12 years.

Their arena is horrible though.

Not much more success. Just one win in the NCAA tourney and just three years with a winning record in the Big Ten since 2000 for Iowa. Counting this year Iowa has won 190 games overall and 75 in conference play since 2000, MN has won 184 overall and 72 in conference play in that same time frame.

One thing to consider...Iowa did not have to try survive the Dan Monson years.

No 'hate' here .. Growing up 7 miles from the Iowa border, I'd see just as many Iowa (and Iowa St) games on TV as the Gophers ... As a kid those memories tend to stick.

Yes not much, they are about the same level as MN. 8th or 9th in the B10 over that time frame, ahead of PSU and NW

Two Big 10 Tournament championships for Iowa in 2001 and 2006. Runner-up in the tournament in 2003.
