I have done almost no work the past three days. It has leaked out in the office that if I don't get a substantial amount of work done tomorrow, I'll be let go.

Is anybody getting anything done?

better just tune your radio over to the U of M's Radio K for all of your Gopher sporting news needs. thus you can still be productive. catch is you'll only hear terrible music, bad dj's, and useless blithering on Radio K.

Work? I knew I forgot to do something today. And yesterday. I can't wait for this to be over so I can actually get some things done. Luckily I have a meeting at 3:00 today to get my mind off of it.
 

I've got two relatively short papers that are due tomorrow, but have I started them? Of course not. They need to hire someone before finals start or I'm absolutely doomed.

I have a 9 AM interview at the Capitol, and even if I am up late, I end up paging through threads I missed during the day. Oops.
 

My boss said if I don't do work tomorrow, I don't have to bother on Monday...woohoo 4 day weekend!
 

CRAP!

I KNEW there was someplace I was supposed to be this morning!!!

(EDIT: whoops! A little late with that angle. Nothing lamer than duplicating a punchline on the internet.)
 

Just started my new job yesterday. So all my new boss knows is this level of non-work. I'm lowering the bar pretty low right off the bat.

Wow.. Never heard of anyone ripping on Radio K before.
 

I peek at GH all day during this very important time, and then head home to my family... where I sit in a chair and check GH at night, and in bed, and in the morning when I get up.

The thought of reading all the speculation, bogus threads, etc. for maybe another week or two makes my eyes and ears bleed when I change my facial expression.
 

Zero Work Indeed

Between GopherHole, GopherIllustrated, and GoldenSports........work has become an afterthought!
 

No problems here. Since retirement started each week is 6 Saturdays and 1 big newspaper day. Definately the good life.
