UCONN. It's a good underdog story and it would reward guys like Shabazz Napier and Niels Giffey for their loyalty to the program through the one-year tournament ban. They are also really fun to watch!
 

Florida. Any time the Pitino tree can gain strength, it's good for us.
 




UConn. In order to avoid both a) an all-SEC final and b) Wisconsin making the final, it'll be necessary for UConn to win their game and Kentucky to win theirs. Between the two, I'd obviously take UConn.

Failing that, Florida, on account of the Pitino connection.

I personally hope Kentucky wins by 30. Wisconsin also plays a boring brand of basketball which I would not want to watch in the title game. I think Kentucky will take care of them, plus the freshman have so much momentum now.

It's hard to really care about Florida. They are consistently really good and never seem to get any media attention. It's pretty impressive. They are the model program.

I can't think of one reason that anyone would not like them aside from being friends with arrogant Florida fans, but even they seem to be pretty even keeled.
 








The pathologic obsession with Wisconsin is stale. Great team. Outstanding coach. Their losing does nothing for minny. Bo does it the right way so I will pull for them.

Richard Pitino comes off both the Rick Pitino and the Billy Donovan coaching tree. Which would mean consecutive championships for our coach's mentors.

Just considering what these four teams have done in this tournament and ignoring any mental/emotional baggage like who they are, where they're from, who coaches them, or what they've done in the past, I vote for UCONN because they are the biggest surprise. Since Florida undoubtedly is the heavy favorite, they are the team I would least like to see win.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bo win this one. This is his best team ever and, given his age, might be his last chance. If people didn't mind seeing Bobby Knight win three championships, it shouldn't be so objectionable to see Bo win one.

Their game with Arizona was anything but boring.
 

I hate two of the teams (KU and Wisc.). I really don't like the other two. I'll go with UConn .
 

I can't fathom how, even beyond the fact that rooting against your archrivals is a basic REQUIREMENT of being a sports fan, the people who "have no problem with Wisconsin winning" can't see the recruiting problems it would lead to. You think a guy from Hopkins is gonna want to play for an NIT semifinalist/finalist, or a national champion?

THIS^. Even if you don't see Wisconsin as a rival, but as just another Big Ten team, they are some of our primary competition for recruits, and them winning a national championship will make them more appealing to players that we are going after.

Not to mention smug Wisky fans.

Florida...took em at 7.5 to 1 back in February to win title.
