I'm cheering for a meteor to hit the stadium at halftime.

No offense, but this might be the worst poll question ever posted on Gopherhole. A true diehard Minnesota fan can only answer one way. But if that's what you are fishing for, you'll get it.

is this a serious question?? i would rather stand in front of adrian peterson at full sprint in a blindfold, then have those a holes to the east who dont deserve to be there in the first place actually win that game.

Ditto. I've always disliked the Nebraska football program, long before they were members of the Big Ten. I respect what they've built there, but I just don't like them. That said, the Husker fans that post here are respectful and don't come here to gloat or boast. Pretty easy decision for me. However, if Wiscy wins, it will give Butt Bielema an opportunity to stick his foot in his mouth again and say that Wisconsin has passed Nebraska as a program because they've beaten them a couple of times.

Not only that the wording of the two choices were very directing and biased. I wonder who we were supposed to vote for - GO NEBRASKA or becky? We don't need that kind of help when we all know the answer!:banghead:

I was gonna vote for Wisky, because they are my 3rd favorite B1G FB team, and then I realized that the Gophers are my 1st, all others are tied for 2nd, and that leaves Becky 3rd. All non-B1G teams are tied for 4th. So I voted for Nebraska.

I am looking forward to watching it. The first time they played this year, it was a really entertaining game. Does it make me less of a Gopher fan, if I don't hate Wisconsin as much as I hate Michigan and Ohio State?

There have been some worthless polls this year, this one may be the worst of the bunch.

That being said I cast my vote for Nebraska but the only reason I would want to see Wisconsin in the rose bowl would be to watch them get throttled by Oregon. Now that the Ducks are out of the picture got to go with Nebraska since Wisky is the kind of team that could luck into a win against Stanford or UCLA.

I voted for Nebraska.

Since we are sharing obvious info, I'd also have preferred to win the Powerball than to not win the Powerball.

Other "Who are you going to cheer for..." polls from this author-
"Cures vs. Diseases" and this one from 1941 "U.S. vs. Japan"

Short answer. Yes.

Would you buy a big RV like the one in those ESPN NBA commercials so all us g'holers could travel to games together?

You have fun with that. My luck, I would be trapped in the corner, stuck listening to a four-hour Wren rant about Macturi and Prexy B.

Does anyone really think the BADgers belong in the game? Their only Big wins came against illinois, indiana, purdue and the Gophers (ouch). They don't deserve to be there but as everyone knows they are there only because of the PSU and OSU issues. They are a crappy team in a crappy division.

They only lost by 3 in Lincoln. Now that Oregon is out of the Rose Bowl picture, they match up well with UCLA or Stanford. A Rose Bowl win for them isn't out of the question, which is lame, but it is what it is.

In hindsight, with 2 teams ineligible, the B1G CCG should have been the 2 eligible teams with the best conference record. In this case Nebraska vs Michigan.

I expect Nebraska to win going away, but I'm for the Badgers because I remember 84-13 (in fact, was there).

The only team I don't cheer for playing Wisconsin, is Iowa, I call that one 'The Ambivalence Bowl'.

Noooooo way I can EVER cheer for Bucky...Go Husker!

It's just a weird year in college football.

1. Wisconsin could play in the Rose Bowl with five losses.
2. Georgia could play in the National Championship after getting spanked earlier this year.
3. Kent St. or N. Illinois could play in the Orange Bowl. Check it out: http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/Spotlight-on-the-MAC-with-BCS-bid-possible-40652309
Under BCS rules, if a champion from a conference without an automatic bid, such as the MAC, ranks in the top 16 of the final BCS standings and is ranked higher than a champion from one of the AQ leagues, such as the Big East, the non-AQ champ is guaranteed a spot in the BCS.

Unless they take the place of Louisville in the BCS, this makes no sense to me. By the way, Kent St. lost by 33 to Kentucky earlier this year. Just think about that for a second.

None of the ABOVE. Dislike both RED hoardes who invade our stadium. They need to split the schedule up so there not both visiting in the same season.
Wisconsin and Nebraska can both play bad, and the game can end in a tie for all I care.
