Who are the state tourney favorites? who is hot?

Wahl ave. 17.5 ppg, 12 reb, 5.4 ass, 2.9 blks last year!

He reminds me a bit of Joe Krabbenhoft. 6-7 220lb player from Sioux Falls. A good all round player who added a 3pt shot his Sr year at Wisconsin.

I think Wahl is going to be stronger, is a better passer and ball handler, but they both had a good all round feel without the outside shot.
 

Did the Gophers recruit Wahl very hard? Looks like they offered him right around the same time WI did.
 

Wahl is pretty good at everything but not really good at anything. He'll be a nice bench piece for Wisco next year but I'm not sure his ceiling is all that high.
 

I don't think Wahl had a high ceiling, I agree. Not a great shooter. Good ball handler, not a go to score. Should be a decent wing player in college.

I really like Dain Dainja and Walton for the 2020 class. I was underwhelmed by Carlson, no way he 6-9 . . . avoid.

I don't think we are high on Carlson's list, either. Should work out just fine . . .
 



Wahl is barely a top 150 player. Expecting him to be more than a role player at Wisconsin as a freshmen is unrealistic.
