Thanks Rex. That was fun. Hollins went for 28 points and White Station wins by 4. Hollins played the point and looks very able to handle the ball with poise. Makes his free throws and has very good speed and jumping ability. Looks good.

I dont see how he is not rated as a top 30 player. he has it all, athletiscism, speed, agility, defense, scores with the best of them

The reason is, he is coming to lowly Minnesota. If he had committed to Kentucky, North Carolina, or Kansas, he would be a top 10 rate. It's all about who ya blow.

Watching a HS basketball game from a state like Tennessee is amazing. The players in that game looked more like college players physically. There was a lot of talent on the floor. Hollins gave me a good feeling based on his ball handling and poise that he and Welch - if Welch is good- can handle the point just fine next year.

Maverick might be a capable backup in a couple of years. Hollins looks ready to play right now. Get him up here.

Thanks for posting this link, I happened to fly by the site and caught the 2nd half. I can't lie, I got real excited about the possibilities with Hollins in the fold. And this isn't just a "highlights" view either, just watching him play the game, he showed a skillset we badly need. Whether he can bring it out right off the bat remains to be seen, but I'm guessing eventually, he'll make his impact. And he showed a very good shooting stroke as well. Got himself into some trouble occasionally, but overall handled the ball very well.
