Senior day last year against MSU they picked all Gold. My guess would be all Gold again or Gold over Maroon.

My heart wants maroon over gold, but I'm guessing it will be all gold or gold over maroon.

I never comment on uniform choices.:cool02:

But if I did I would guess maroon/maroon.

I won't tell anyone my preference.

The last time we faced a team that was red and white as a home underdog, we wore Maroon over Gold - and we came up with the upset. I vote that. Keep the mojo going. Plus with our opponent's typical road uni set, that would make for one good looking game.

In my mind, anything other than maroon over gold would be the most questionable decision of the Coach Kill era (trumping that bizarre fake FG attempt against Michigan last year).

I think we should wear the same unis as the ones we wore last time we beat the Skunks.

Do I have this right?

UNLV Maroon/Maroon W
WIU Gold/Maroon W
SJSU Maroon/Maroon W
IOWA Maroon/Maroon L
NEB Maroon/Gold W
PSU Maroon/White W

I say get throwbacks to the shiny gold Wacker era. Those were sweet.

No. We're building a brand around the slightly darker shade of maroon and the yellow-marigold as gold. It looks sharp on uniforms and in the stands (as opposed to the BC/FSU pukey colored gold). Let's not eff it up.

That "bizarre" field works if it had been executed well. Mortell threw a wounded-duck, arm-punt of a pass to an invisibly flanked, uncovered Nelson out against the sideline. Had that pass been thrown with a modicum of zip with a little lead to it Nelson could have strode into the end zone untouched. As it were the pass hung up forever giving the Michigan field goal unit enough time to recover and tackle Nelson before the first down marker. Ballsy call in that situation? Yes. What would have been your opinion if it had worked? That call is on the coaches, the execution on the players.

We'll probably need some uncoventional coaching decisions with execution by the players if we are to have any chance against Wisconsin this weekend.

As far as uniforms: Maroon over gold. Best combo possible.

MAROON OVER GOLD IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE HOME UNIFORM COMBINATION.

Seriously. How about, whatever combination the seniors decide they want to wear? I am fine with any combination.

I dunno, I'm pretty sure Coach Kill is refreshing this thread every 5 seconds to determine what uniform to go with.

Someone posted here last Friday with Saturday's wardrobe choice...can't remember who.

You must have already forgotten Wettstein's TD against the budgies in 2011.

I vote for Gold/Maroon or Maroon/Gold. These IMHO are the coolest color combos.

I vote for Gold top with maroon pants. Provides the best contrast against there white uniforms especially as it get's dark around 04:30 PM now. Seniors choose is a good idea.
I also vote at the third quarter break that we pretend to play Jump around and immediately turn it off with the PA announcer saying
"AH HELL NO" and then start our stuff while those doofs jump up and down.
