You make an interesting point, but it may have been missed by all but the most regular of readers.
 

But his free throw shooting hurts as much as his rebounding helps...Also, he doesn't protect the ball like he needs to. Thinking he is tied (with Westbrook) for the most TO's so far...

Wasn't referring to Iverson.
 

Iverson is the other anomaly. The lack of rebounding by DJ is your point, I would assume. It's a good one.
 


I think it's the all out attempts to block every shot by multiple players. It's really putting guys like Sampson and DJ out of position to rebound on the defensive glass. It's also getting us into early foul trouble. There is a fine line between aggressive defense and hacking.

I believe Tubby got on DJ, rather publicly, a few games into last year's Big Ten season for not going hard after rebounds. I bet he will be getting a bit of tough love on this issue very shortly.
