Of course I didn't watch much of the Iowa game, but is their loss against ISU worse than ours against TCU?

Iowa lost 20-17 at home against a team that lost to an FCS team by 20.
Minnesota lost 30-7 to a team on the road that went 4-8 last year.

The Gophers were brutal today but I have to give the nod to the Hawkeyes.

As many have said, TCU was a much better team than 4-8 last year (e.g. schedule, injuries, close games). I think they will do some damage this year.

That said, I would give the nod to the Gophers. Gotta a least be competitive.

Any home loss is inexcusable. It is a hard test to go on the road and win. The Iowa loss by a mile.

Iowa at home mainly because I think TCU is a much better team than Iowa State.

TCU is far better than ISU! Plus Iowa was at their beloved Kinnick POS stadium.

Agreed.

Iowa lost to a poor Iowa State team at home, while we lost to a TCU team on the road, that potentially could be very good.

Ours was worse.

Any Iowa loss is a good thing.

WHO HATES IOWA!!!

Jury is out. I was not impressed by TCU offense. Our offense put them in good spots all day.

Maryland lost to WV, Indiana lost to Bowling Green, Illinois lost to Washington. All bad losses. Probably the worst is Indiana, then Iowa, then Gophers.

Our loss was worse. Bad as Iowa comes off in losing to Iowa State, they at least had a chance to win and in state rivalry games are always tough. We got demolished and there were few positives to take away from the TCU game.

At least our loss wasn't as bad as the BADgers losing to LSU
