The first Home team was the Gophers (35-20 winner), the second home team Ohio State (31-13 winner)

We win a game like that and our fans cry "disaster". OSU wins a game like that and they are "a team that finds a way to win".

I'll take it.

Ohio State is known for their Defense & Pryor played like Pryor plays.......

Our problem is Weber is *GETTING WORSE* every week and today was no different.......

The Ground Game picks up just as the Passing Game goes south.......

I think we're all happy with the win but if you can't see why people are still concerned then I really don't know what to tell you........

Yeah, Pryor was dynamite behind that great OSU line.
Pass
T. Pryor 5-13 87 38.5% 6.7 Ave 1 TD 1 INT
Rush
T. Pryor 10-35 3.5 Ave Long 27 (that's 8 yards on his other 9 rushes)

Weber is not *GETTING WORSE*. His O-line sucks as a unit. Have you noticed?

He only attempted 9 passes today, which is hardly enough to judge a downgrade.

He was 16-30 271 53.3 9.0 1 TD 1 INT against the same Badgers IN THE COLD RAIN. Most people would take that.

Pryor is likely better than Gray, and OSU definitely has a better overall team than MN, why is that everyone thinks Gray can just step in and dominate?

Weber can be good, let's just hope he is good enough these next 2 games.

The backup QB in a situation like this is always the fan favorite. He can do no wrong but that's because he's never played.

Pryor has really blossomed into a mess. I really believe if you stay disciplined against OSU they're very beatable. Someone is going to embarrass them in a big way. Probably Iowa.

The total yardage is so in favor of Wisky because Ohio St. had two defensive TD's and one Special Team's TD. They didn't even have their first offensive play of the 2nd half until about a minute left in the 3rd quarter. Ohio St. still gained more per play than Wisconsin.

I understand what you're saying and don't disagree, just wanted to point out that the reason they had such less yardage and first downs was because they had less offensive drives.

Sorry thailleagle, but you just got owned. (You probably would have been better off not hijacking Weber into this particular post.)

This is the same reason the gopher offensive stats were so low. Short fields and an effective run game. They didn't need anything spectacular to win today. Defense was playing with a three posession lead very conservatively. Lots to improve on but they did what they needed to win.

The thing is this...Weber is in his 3rd Year...and *STILL* plays like he's in his 1st.......

This is where stats don't tell the whole story...for one thing 80 of those yards came on a drive inside the last minutes of the game when Wiscy decided to start playing Prevent so let's not pretend Weber didn't miss open receivers all day, didn't throw a ball too high off of a screen that resulted in an interception, didn't check into that pass play inside the 1 instead of keeping the run call, didn't take sack after sack after sack instead of throwing the ball away.......

To this day Weber still refuses to throw the ball away when necessary, that's supposed to be a natural instinct for a QB. I've been watching football all day and it's amazing how many times QB's have avoided sacks by throwing the ball away...something Weber obviously hasn't learned well into his 3rd year.......

Weber is *NOT* that good of a QB so let's not compare a mediocre day for Pryor with the story of Weber's career at Minnesota.......

stats

You are NOT going to have an stats when you:

Score a special teams TD
Have a 2 yard TD drive after an INT
Have a 30 yard TD drive
Have another approx 35 yard TD drive

We had the huge field position so no way were we going to rack up stats.

Point taken on Ohio State.

We found a way to make things happen.

Exactly. Shut up and enjoy, I say.
