Smith elevated his game as a sophomore this season, rushing for 1,158 yards with 16 touchdowns -- the third-most in a single season in school history. There are so many talented Big Ten tailbacks every year, but he could be among the best in 2017.

Great skill set. Don't know if he's big enough to take the pounding of a featured back at the pro level, but he can do a lot of things very well.
