On the one hand, I'm very disappointed I have to miss seeing the game in person. The barn should be electric.

On the other hand, work has sent me to Las Vegas and I can't be mad about that. I've never been here, so does anyone have a good idea where I can catch the game on Thursday? My hotel is right off the strip.

Thanks! Go Gophers!

Just find a sports book with some comfy seats and enjoy the show on the screen and the show the bettors put on around you. I like the book at the Mirage, but just make the walk easy for yourself.

I'll be at a Logan's Roadhouse in Lexington, KY, working on a steak, sitting at the bar.

The book at Caesar's Palace is the mecca for sports books and has some nice big screens...Otherwise the Hard Rock.

My God, somebody asking for sports watching advice in Las Vegas? Wow, just walk down any street, anytime! Sheesh!!!

If you knew the Gophers were going to win, I would watch it at one of the Michigan bars, like the Kopper Keg down on St. Rose Parkway. Stir the pot a little. Might as well try to make some friends!!

I agree with watching it any casino sports book. I watched the Wisconsin FB game this year at Bally's book, which is probably the sh-ttiest of them all, and it was a lot of fun. All different fans watching a bunch of games together. There was a Cal group, A&M group, and many others. A Thursday evening in January isn't the same as a Saturday in October, but a top 10 game should have some fun action.

Otherwise, Blue Ox is a Vikings/Minnesota bar in Vegas. I've never been, but it gets suggested whenever this topic gets brought up. But again, the sports book is where it's at for the Vegas experience.

Been some years now but the Luxor was a fun crowd if your down that end

The neat thing about any of the Betting Places is that you have fans of every team there, yelling, rooting, cheering, drinking, having fun. At the end, some walk off downtrodden, some walk off happy as all billy hell, and some walk off even to try their luck at the slots. It is a blast. Kind of like the dog tracks. btw, at the dog races, I always bet $5 on dogs in lanes 1-2-8 qluinnela box on the dogs.

One of the best times I've had watching a game was watching the Vikings beat the Pack in the playoffs at the book in the Venetian. Loud.
