Where to sit? Gohpers vs. Michigan state

Hello, I am from Winnipeg Manitoba and am a die hard Gopher fan!! I am coming down to Minneapolis the week of the 21st and I am planning on attending the game. I want to be able to sit with other students in the fan sections, standing for the whole game, and just being excited about the Gophers. My question is what section should I look to buy tickets in? Am I allowed to sit in the student sections even though I don't go to the university? I have to buy my tickets online so what is a good site for that? I am a huge Gopher fan and am looking forward to my first game, any advice would help. Thanks!!

This late in the game I would try to get something second deck behind the baskets. They are unobstructed and offer excellent viewing.

Anything still available along the corners or courtsides will probably be obstructed and some of those are awful!

The Barn will be very exciting Sunday because the Gophers are going to come out smoking.
I have every confidence you can sneak into the student section if you try. That is about the only place your going to see fans standing the entire game. Otherwise try for the corner next to the students 109 or 108.
Second deck front row is cool too. Remember you can stand if you want to any time anywhere.

I plan on using Stub Hub to buy my tickets so I can pretty much get them anywhere in the arena, but they will cost me alot which I am ok with, I am just looking for the best place to sit, (from an atmosphere) stand point. Also if any one is unable to attend the game and looking to sell there tickets please pm me and hopefully we can work something out, Thank you!

You don't need to sneak in to the student section. Just enter the doors with any ticket and walk in to the student section. They don't check once you're in.

More often than not, there are spots available in the back of or next to the student section. Even for the Purdue game, a friend of mine bought a ticket in the rafters at game time and found enough space fairly low in the section next to the students for my wife and I to join him. With both the Gophers and Spartans struggling, there will be some options.
