Sorry if spam but I am curious. I want to show that I don't stand with our neighbors next door.

Dunhams carries A LOT of college gear. In think Finish Line (shoe store) had a bunch of college sweatshirts

Thanks for the idea but sadly Dunhams isn't close to me. I am just looking for a one time shirt use.

Get the arts and crafts container out from under the bed and make one yourself. Glitter the heck out of it.

Screw Duke and Coach K

Even the average Southern citizen of Durham NC does not care much for Duke and especially their spoiled, rich, Northeastern WASPY constituency.

Try Goodwill Industries...they have a sh*t-ton of stuff that nobody wants that has been discarded.

Just write in with a sharpy on an old white T shirt. That will get your point across and make a good shop rag after the game.

The best suggestion, for sure.

The College Store at the Mall of America?

D-bag alert. And you know why.

Duke is one of the more racially and ethnically diverse major universities in the country. Less than half of the student body is white. Want to know Wisconsin's percentage of African-Americans as students? 2%. Duke is 6 times that. Wisconsin is almost 80% white.

Take your WASP comment and GFY

Oh...and those "average Southern citizens" cheering against the WASPY Dukies in the RDU area....NC St is 3/4 white and UNC is 2/3 white. Again, Duke is less than 50%. Maybe it's something a bit different than being WASPY. Something a bit more seedy.

Even one more thing to hammer down the "WASPY" point...Duke is abou 10% Jewish...so the entire student body can't be more than 1/3 WASPY. Name another big program that can say the same? Go ahead. I'll wait

Okay, I was not real precise in my last post, and the point really was not about the impact of the Northeastern elitists on Duke, so WASPY was not really appropriate.

The point was that Durham NC and Duke have not always had the best relationship and a lot of that has to do with the fact that the Duke Student body does not have a lot in common with the average Durham area resident and that is for a lot of demographic reasons, not just the couple I implied earlier.

The Duke Lacrosse "rape" witch hunt and fallacy came about in some ways due to this uneasy relationship many of these groups, and it certainly is not primarily a racial thing as some might think, although is one factor. The attitude of some of the local politicians, and officials in government appointed positions like law enforcement have played a part of this. The corruption of Nifong, the disgraced former prosecutor in the Duke case and some of the detectives in the Duke "rape" case is an astounding story. The willingness of Duke upper level administration to bow to political correctness and leftist nut jobs on the faculty is also an amazing part of that story. The Durham area NAACP completely embarrassed itself in that Duke case as well.

A lot of people that are part of the Durham community fabric on many levels often seem to not like Duke very much, that was my point.
