Where are all the haters now? I was BLASTED for being anti-Brewster. When I called for his head, I was killed. I sincerely doubt anyone will disagree with me now. It's a funny thing...

What a riot. Last hoops season BigGopherFan came on the board and ripped Tubby and the Gophers because they "lost" to Indiana (I think it was IU, may have been someone else) even though we hit a last second buzzer shot and won in OT. He posted a few seconds before we hit the buzzer shot and then begged the admins to delete the thread after he got ripped.

Go Gophers!!
 




His strategy: Say a bunch of things. When he's right, come back and say "I told you so." When he's wrong, which is 90% of the time, he is no where to be found.

I think the Gophers beat Penn State at the buzzer, not IU. But it doesn't matter. what a joke!!! sorry to hear about bgf's parents though i guess

Yep, good call, it was PSU. He was all over Tubby, RIPPED him and the team for "losing" and when people gave him a hard time that we had actually WON the game, he was upset at the admins for not deleting the thread.

Go Gophers!!
 

I still disagree with you....not about Brew...but I'm sure you have some other thought I'd like to blast you for.

It was PSU. He also assured us we would lose to Bucky when we were up 16 at half-time. It was a lock. But give him a break. It takes internet balls of steel to declare that every team sucks and then come around looking for congratulations when one of them does. Hey, we all did dumb things when we were 12.

He also ripped the baseball team early in the season.

They went on to win the Big Ten, and had a nice showing in the NCAAs.

So I guess he and the homers have something in common after all.

I notice that once the going gets tough, there's plenty of the Brewster backers and shameless homers that become very scarce. What kind of fan is that? When the going gets tough, they hide?

1. I will not defile the memory of those for by adding a dead career.

2. I will always exhort the Gophers to beat their opponent (even though the chances are slim).
 

The beauty of taking the "This Guy Sucks" stand is that you will, eventually, be right. It is a gutless position because other than Bryant, Paterno, and Bowden (and a few others), you take no risk. So, congrats on being a gutless wonder who predicted doom and gloom upon the team you root for.

There are plenty of people who shamelessly pull for the home team around here. Though there are quite a few trolls and haters who don't, I never counted you among them. My mistake I guess.
