I'm sure it has been mentioned in some thread but I'm too lazy to dig. If OSU gets in does that help us bowl wise??

With Wisconsin out of the Playoff 6, it appears they're heading to the Holiday Bowl. The Strib pegged Nebraska for the Outback Bowl. The Orange Bowl apparently is taking Michigan State which means no Big Ten bid for the Citrus Bowl. This means the Gophers could find themselves in the Gator (Taxslayer) Bowl on the afternoon of January 2. If Jacksonville prefers Maryland or Iowa (somehow they can still jump us) we could end up playing Tuesday December 30 in the Foster Farms Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara with a 9:00 PM start and likely a 40,000 crowd in a 68,500 stadium. Bad, bad news.

I'm going with:

OSU in Playoff
MSU in Orange
WI in Outback
MN in Holiday
NE in Music City or Foster Farms
Maryland in Tax Slayer or Foster Farms
Iowa - Heart of Dallas
PSU - Pinstripe
Rutgers - Detroit
Illinois - not bowling

NO they not. Wisconsin is all but a lock to goes to the Outback bowl. Minnesota either Taxslayer.com bowl or the Holiday Bowl.

A) Why have you capitalized your "NO" in a manner that suggests you're shouting at me?

B) Joe Christenson of the Star Tribune has the Spartans in Miami, the Badgers in San Diego, the Cornhuskers in Tampa, and the Gophers in Jacksonville with a possible nightmare scenario ending with the Gophs in the Bay Area. Maybe he's wrong. If so, have at him.

Last week, the Strib projections completely omitted the Outback Bowl from the Big Ten lineup, so I'm not putting too much stock in those.

Hot off the ESPN Latest Big Ten Blog

Wisconsin's horrific performance in the Big Ten title game drops the Badgers down to the Holiday Bowl, which really, really wants Gary Andersen's team. Minnesota heads to the Outback Bowl, while Nebraska likely would go to the Music City Bowl to avoid a repeat in Jacksonville.

I'll take this

CBSsports.com has Wisconsin in Tampa, Nebraska in San Diego, Michigan State in Miami to cancel out Orlando, and us in Jacksonville to face Auburn.
