That the new coach was flying in tonight and there would be an announcement tomorrow?

The only thing I have heard "for sure' was Mona saying it would be done sometime this week.

cuz he's gonna tell you the truth since he's involved in the search.
 

Here is the chronology of the speculation that we would know today:

Saturday at 1:16, Zach from Gophers Illustrated tweeted: "If sources are correct Minnesota should release name of their new coach within 30 hours. Sounds like press conference will wait til Monday."

After that the information was repeated by MV of Football Fringe Team, by Doogie and by All Time Twins Fan.

All of these have been very reliable sources in the past.

Zach Johnson at GI, Doogie and MV all tweeted that folks inside Bierman were letting this be known. They may all have the same source, but there seemed to be pretty unanimous consensus on this info. I still think it is correct, though I am surprised nothing is leaking from the players on the current team.
