When will the offense in college football stop getting better?

This is getting insane. You've always seen high scoring between a top team and crappy team, but now this is becoming the norm in games where two good teams play against each other.

I don't know how it happened, but the Big 12 defenses are just not that good in comparison to the offenses, all across the board. During the KU-Mizzou game, KU receivers were constantly wide open down the sideline or across the middle, even when Mizzou would drop 7. This is similar to most other Big 12 games. You can't tell me that the Big 12 grabbed all of these utterly superior WR, the defenses are just bad.
