It will read:

Purdue 23 Visitors 17

If there is one team in the Gophers history that has vexed them it is the Purdue Boilermakers. This will be no different. It will be a game of futility, ineptness, and failure to make a play. The Gophers will show some spark initially taking a 10-0 lead into the half. The Boilermakers capitalize on three picks all in Gopher territory. Leading to two TD. With the Boilermakers leading 14-10, Troy finally houses a return to take the lead in the game at 17-14. The sideline is jubliant. Fans see a chance. The Boilers move the ball, but are forced to Punt with 5 minutes left in the game. The Gophers have the ball on their 25, and Weber goes to the air. This is where the third interception is returned for a TD. With the conversion it is now, Purdue 21 Visitor 17. The game now has less than 4 minutes and the Purdue kick off carries into the endzone. Ryan Collado fields it, the up man signals to down it. But Collado begins to return it. He runs out of the endzone sees the blockers have given up, and tries to reverse his field by returning to the endzone to make a dash up the sidelines. He is burried in the enzone for the safety. The Steam whistle goes off as the Scoreboard updates to Purdue 23, Vistors 17, there are now nearly 3 minutes left. The punt and a return to the Gopher 45. Purdue need first downs and gets two. The game ends with Purdue taking a knee.

The idea we were a play away is no longer valid. The idea held by many is the team is poorly coached, or has quit on the coach. Players no longer are willing to sacrifice their bodies or risk the chance of an injury. The rest of the season does not look promising. Mecrifully it will soon be over.

Deep down I think PU will win. But I just drank some tasty kool-aid.

Gophers: 27
Purdue: 24

If we have the lead with 5 minutes to go, and the ball on our own 25, I doubt we would be passing at all. Three interceptions is a lot to predict.

30-27 Gophers.

You have come up with some wild scenarios in the past but this one might just be the craziest.

If that actually happens he will gain some major credibility. Or it will be revealed that he is, in fact, Ryan Collado.

Go Gophers!!

I think my 2006 year was the best. I kicked it off with a predictions of a 42-0 win against Kent State and ended with the loss to Texas Tech and the prediction Coach Mason would not win another game at Minnesota. I had no idea he would be canned, but even Loon had to admit I was right.

And if you think my pronostication is way out there you did not live through the Purdue games at the dome. Nobody could have forecasted those. Or how about some of those losses to Northwestern. This will be galling.

Purdue has been a problem since the '40s - and for Notre Dame, too. Boilers 38 Gophers 31. Strange fact: largest home crowd ever to see the Gophers was at the Purdue game, 1948. Gophers won easily on a bitterly cold, windy day. Have no idea why Purdue outdrew defending nat'l champ, Michigan.

Actually, according to the U, it was the 1966 Purdue game, not 1948.

Still surprising either way.

Remember Minnesota-Purdue 1991? Yuck...it was 6-3...talk about a Snoozefest. Lewis Garrison had a TD that was called back due to a penalty...

Minnesota 27, Purdue 23...

God help me I'm Delusional .

Gophers 35
Boilermakers 17

There is no good reason, only hoping against hope.

This is not going to be a pretty game.

Purdue 23
Gophers 13

Here is how it goes down.

Weber takes the snap and is pushed from the pocket. While he is runnning towards the side, he throws an air ball blindingly and thankfully Gray is there to snatch it out of the air. Gray stiff arms his way 56 yards for a td. On that play we learn Weber broke his ankle and is out for the year. Gray takes over and turns this game into a laugher.

Gophers: 45
Boils: 27

I forgot to put fanfiction in mine.
