I attend both of these blow outs that the gophers played in. I consider them to the worse two losses in history for the Gophers. I consider the 55-0 loss to Iowa the worse ever since the team quit on Brewster after the 1st quarter.Against Nebraska the gphers were totally over matched.

55-0! Nebraska was expected to be a blowout. Iowa was favored by 6.

Supporting the team

Ur doin' it wrong.

The Texas Tech or the Ohio State loss were BOTH worse then either of those games. Two games that the Gophers had thirty point leads and lost.

Nebraska had way to much talent and Osborne kept his first string into the Fourth Quarter. Against Iowa the score was atrocious but anyone who knew anything about the team saw that they were going to be playing some first stringers on one leg and a lot of second and third stringers against the Hawkeyes. No excuse for the score just the margin.

Good point - too many to choose from

"The Texas Tech or the Ohio State loss were BOTH worse then either of those games. Two game that the Gophers had thirty point leads and lost."

this is the greatest embarrassment in Gopher history.

I was at both games, and vote for the 84-13 game. The Huskers ran thru our 'matador' defense like it wasn't there. Every play they ran seemed like an 80 yard TD play. Granted, that Husker team was maybe one of the greatest college FB teams of all time. It was easily the most one sided Gopher game I have ever seen.

Correction

We kicked two field goals - in the 84 -13 loss to NE.

I still think last years loss to Iowa was worse.

Both were bad, but I think Nebraska could have scored over 100 points that night had they wanted to.

"I attend both of these blow outs that the gophers played in."

Sure you did.

I was in the Band at the Nebraska game and we KNEW that we were going to be killed that day. If I remember right, we were all cheering when the Rodents actually held Neb. to a 3 and Out series, which I think was really early in the game. After that, it was just pure pain.
