It is strange to see people overly upset that a freshman isn't getting a ton of PT.

Not when people are not knowledgeable about player development.

How many Freshman d-linemen currently start in all of FBS football combined? I'd be willing to bet it is less than 20.
 



So this kid chooses to stay home and play for the Gophers over offers from Florida, Ohio State, and Oklahoma and you choose to mock him as a redshirt freshman?
