I'm thinking a flask of Jamison's 12 year old inside my boot. I have my flaws, but at least I don't drink cheap ass booze. I'll have a beautiful 22 year old lass by my
side ( My daughter, a senior at Bemidji State) If you see a dude dressed in a original duster from" Once Upon a Time in the West " give me a high five!!

" What's is he doing out there" ( Jill played by Claudia Cardinal ) "He's witling on a piece of wood ( Harmonica man played by Charles Bronson) When he's done witling,
something going to happen" ( Cheyenne, played by Jason Robards)

First time I've ever had it was last weekend. UV whipped cream flavored vodka. I'm normally a peppermint schnapps/hot chocolate guy, but it is a distant second to the UV Whipped!!!! Airplane bottles....99cents

I never drank at the game before this year. I'm not morally opposed to it, I just feel much better about driving out of there with a nice long buffer without the sauce. However, with the beer tents, I like getting up to stretch at half, grabbing a Brain Melt and standing and shooting the breeze out on the plaza. Makes the long halftime go by much quicker.

it's russian imperial stout season so, even though it's not conducive to being snuck in, i'm thinking some old rasputin from north coast is imperative.

My flaskS will be filled to the brim with some awful tasting, incredibly strong TBD booze.

I wish I had enough disposable dough to bring 12 year old whiskey into the stadium. But I suppose if the Gophers keep winning I'll have to step my game up.

Save that for the Rose Bowl! It should be really seasoned by then!

I'll probably bring in a few Grain Belt silos again to match what they are selling at the game. It's not very difficult when wearing a cold weather jacket. Plus, the beer doesn't get warm in this weather. I don't have as much problem paying $7.50 as I do walking all the way across the damn stadium to pay $7.50.

I thought about the Nordeast silo's also, but decided on Jamison's
To warm the innards.

Do they have Nordeast silos? I've only purchased from the tents, but have seen cans that you can buy outside Gate A. However, I only recall seeing Grain Belt Premium and Miller Lite aluminum bottles.

Any of you know if there's a reasonable way to walk between the stadium and Manning's on Como? I don't want to go out of the way via 15th Ave. But it seems like the railyard blocks any direct walk North/South.

I used to live in the apartments across the tracks from Seibert and would cross the tracks daily to get to campus. Not sure if there are fences now or what with all the construction. But it's a nice shortcut. Plus it's fun to climb through the trains.

Had my first 10+ year old shot of Scotch 2 weekends ago. Quite possibly hooked for life - even though it set me back $13. Curious what a bottle of 12 year old Jamisons goes for ?? Thinking about taking out a second mortgage to get one.

Black Strap Rum (with a hint of caramel) mixed with a bottle of coke bought inside the stadium.

There is no good way. We eat at Manning's before every game and the walk to the stadium sucks every time. But Manning's is always worth it. I have tried the shortcut before but ran into too many fences, trains, and bums.

About 45.00.

You are screwed. I had my first single malt Scotch about 4 years ago and also became instantly hooked. I now find myself spending entirely too much money on various single malts and it has become my favorite and most frequent drink and even sort of a hobby. The best part of my Christmas gifts from the lady for the last two years were spendy single malts and I usually buy a new single malt to try at least once a month. I now have plans to visit a Scotch distillery (in Scotland, of course) next spring. All this said while sipping on a dram of 10 year old Laphroaig. Talk about a peat monster.

I'm on my way to the LS to buy a bottle of Jamisons and toast Ruppert and the Gophers. Have you got a recommendation for a special occasion single malt, such as a hypothetical victory that sends us to the Rose Bowl ?

I've been bringing in a flask of Maker's Mark and a 20 oz bottle of Mt. Dew for the last 2 weeks. Sounds bad, tastes great.

Sorry for the late response: Lagavulin aged 16 years is the best single malt I've had for under $100/bottle.

Thanks HH, I've added it to my Christmas list. Not expecting a Rose Bowl quite yet, but obviously need to sample first, just in case. Perhaps by a second bottle for the Rose Bowl shelf. You're right - screwed indeed.

Makers? Now you're talking! Also as it happens, drinking coffee and, separately, a Diet Mountain Dew. I'll try your concoction sometime.

If you like Maker's neat or even straight-up, treat yourself to some Rebel Yell sometime. Have some to drink to a Gopher victory. You'll probably have a chance to do that 2 or 3 times before the end of the year!
