A dominant, agile 7 footer (Plumlee, Zeller).

Great 3 point shooting (Duke 8-10, IU first half).

I think the second is aided greatly by the first.

Get up on our ball handlers. We still, at times, have issues with dribbling.

And yes, hit an unreal percentage of three's.

I would add when we don't do a better job of boxing out on the defensive boards (how many 2 chances did Indianna get?). 2. boxing out on FT's. 3. Fewer than 20 FT attempts and all the above which causes us to TO the ball and gets us out of our sets.

That, plus 15 turnovers in the first half on our part. And terrible defense.

So, in summary:
- Stellar offensive shooting by other team,
- A good big man,
- Terrible defense on our part,
- A ton of turnovers

That's what it takes to beat us.

On the ball pressure and a quick point guard with dribble penetration. Gophers were only able to make run when Indiana pulled back defensively and stopped going to the hoop.

So....basically a lot. Not a lot of the teams in the nation will be able to do these things against us.

For a while, but later in the 2nd half Indiana picked it back up and MN played them well. But I do agree that not having a "pure" point guard can hurt a little bit at times.

The bottom line though - MN lost on the road to one of the best teams in the country.

But not by much!

Turnovers, plain & simple. When we turn the ball over they get easy buckets, I forget points after turnovers statistic at the end of first half, but it was lopsided.

Spot on...

That's exactly it...
