Did anyone notice at the game last week we did not get the usual THE GOPHERS HAVE ENTERED THE CASE IH REDZONE announcement?

Did Case IH end their sponsorship? I know they do the same thing across a lot of other college stadiums...

How will I know the Gophers are in the redzone!?!?!!?

Thats funny. You must have been one of the guys sitting behind us in section 3 that was having a lot of fun with them no longer saying that.

They absolutely made announcements when we entered the red zone last week. Was it a different sponsor? I don't recall if it was Case IH or no sponsor at all. They did announce it though.

At least on one occasion it was no announcement at all, and I'm pretty sure I never heard CASE IH or saw the old tractor graphic on others.

The Case IH Redzone sponsorship was facilitated through Learfield Sports for its sports properties at a number of agricultural focused schools. I was at another one of their schools last week that used to have the same promotion and wondered if I'd missed the promo, too. Evidently Case IH has pulled back. Low commodity prices no doubt are impacting the machinery and implement market and in turn, advertising budgets.

Definitely something I noticed as well. I commented to my friends in a text that we should put together $100 bucks, offer it to the U, and have them run some kind of meme because it would be $100 bucks more than they're getting right now.

I suggest we do a fundraiser on here and use the money to get them to state that the Gophers have entered the burrow or something similar that's far more clever (gopherhole seems like it could be reversed as a negative if we don't score)

I would assume that's the case. John Deere is getting hit hard with incoming tariffs (taxes) + retaliatory tariffs on US agricultural products (farmers hit so they don't want to spend on new equipment). I gotta think Case IH is in the same boat.

No sponsor. "The Gophers have entered the RED ZONE" "WOOOOO"
They should ask season ticket holders to record videos of them announcing it and create a pool of random red zone announcements ... then WOOO.

Or even just students ... maybe live (if you can find trustworthy students).

Or ask the student section to finish the chant, "The Gophers have entered the ____" and they yell out the rest?

Yeah it had no oomph when they said the gophers have entered the red zone. Announcer said it with no bravado. Another game time thing that they eliminated from last year that I was disappointed they did so was the solo trumpet player playing before the team entered the field. Thought that was a really fun and cool touch. This year all they did was a weird 20 second video of I cant even remember what song.

Sounds like an opportunity. Does anyone know how much it costs to sponsor the Red Zone?

I like the sound of "The Gophers have entered the Schnauzer Red Zone!"
Can we sell naming rights to just the red zones? Kinda like naming the field after someone, but instead of the whole field and it being "free" as an honor to that individual, it would be paid for and their logo colored into the grass?

I believe it was Hells Bells.

I wish they would stick with hells bells or another classic rock song with a buildup instead of swapping to that heartbeat-esque bass pump that precedes them running onto the field

The "Washburn McCreavy Funeral Chapel Red Zone" seems like a bad omen.
