Happy Chanukah tonight tipping off the holiday gift giving season. While my daughter says that she would like a stuffed Gopher, I'd personally take MN 13-5 in the B1G and entering the tourney as a 3 or 4 seed with respect at 27-7. Make it happen Gophers. I need no more, expect perhaps a new set of irons.

You're hoping for that during the wrong time, unless you're into retroactive gifts. Start praying to the patron saint of Ireland, as his holiday is about the time the regular season concludes. I'm definitely with you on the record though...but a stuffed gopher wouldn't be terrible.

Edit: Brain is melting.

You are my kind of guy, so what I want is a big, big Christmas Wish. I want the ritziest, most expensive Country Club. I want to be the Gopher from Caddyshack that pisses you off with your new set of irons. :)

A season without losing a game that we had a double digit lead in. And a tournament win.

While I had enjoyed a fine beverage before starting this thread, I truly believe it is a plausible scenario, top 10. I grant that Indiana will be tough to beat at Assembly Hall, but I think we can match up with Mich, OSU and MSU. To get to top ten status, hold serve at Williams and steal a game (or 2, but I won't push it) at one of four top teams arena and take care of business against the bottom half of the B1G. Well, at least that's the formula.

At least one win against every B1G team and a 5 or better seed in the tourney.

Less than 10 or so turnovers/game. The season wil be major if they can do that.

Above .500 conference play and a pleasant Selection Sunday. Too early to project anything else.

vegas baby

im going put a large sum on the gophers to win it all. -- that's my wish:)

In no particular order:
1. Beat Becky
2, Becky hires Childress
3. Top 40 football recruiting class.
4. Kill becomes seizure free
5. Beat Texas Tech
6. Get to the Elite 8
7. Q plays the whole game at QB
8. Trevor is 100% by the B1G opener
9. Oto makes more than one three for the year
10. I wish I had the dough to take everyone to Houston.

I want us to continue to play good basketball, have a good regular season top 5 B1G finish and a comfortable selection Sunday where we don't have to sweat it out and see if we will make the tourney or not, alll we are anticipating is who we are playing and where. My big wish though is to get committments from Rashad, Reid, and Tyus!

A Big Ten Tournament bye. I don't want to see the Gophers playing on a Thursday in Chicago.
