what an absolute joke of a 1st half. just pathetic effort so far

how do you come into a game like this (that you need to win) with absolutely no emotional drive, very little effort on the defensive end. i know michigan is hitting an unbelievable % from 3-pt so far (seven 3's in the first half), but that overall effort and coaching strategy was just weak beyond words. when you see 3 or 4 small white dudes on the floor do you think they might just be planning on jacking up 3's all night long?

they better come out with crazy effort in the 2nd half if they want any chance to win this game.

Agreed. The complete lack of intensity on defense is inexcusable. Where's the leadership from DJ? The coaches have tried a 2-3 zone, a 3-2 zone a man defense. The players are getting abused by Michigan in any defense. Slow rotation in the zones and allowing the guards to penetrate. Awful.

Classic U of M letdown game. Even when Michigan is near the bottom of the conference, the team is scared by the "MICHIGAN" on the front of their shirts.
