Whalen is the first player in league history to score 5,000 points, have 2,000 assists and 1,500 rebounds, hitting the points mark Thursday night against Connecticut.

Whalen was averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds through 18 games. She is in her 13th season and seventh with the Lynx, averaging 12.2 points, 5.1 assists, four rebounds and one assist per game throughout her career.
