Not enough offense, especially passing, too many penalties, good at running and stopping the run. Weak pass defense.

Agree. Talent needs to get better across the board and not just on offense.

Our defense is designed to push teams into a short passing game.

We stop the run and blitz a lot, and try to prevent the long pass.

So the passing stats are slightly misleading.
 





Really interesting...thanks for sharing. I'd argue we improved a lot over the final 4 games or so with regard to some of our weaker areas (penalties and pass D chief among them).

I agree. The Iowa game is really the only no show all year and still makes me mad.
