At least we have some spring games coming up.
Not that will hold us over until the fall but at least we will get to see some football.

Welcome back DH! How are your Hogs looking?

There's always indoor football. Which is sort of like saying "We're all out of porterhouse steaks, here's a Slim Jim."

I think we are looking pretty good.
Just had a defensive player named to the Lott watch list.
Our defense is looking much better. Not much worried about the
offense.

How about the Gophers?
I could just read some posts I guess.
Been super busy here and I don't have much time to get on here.

Ha ha...I don't think anyone would fault you for not taking time to dig through the GH archives. :)

It's kinda hard to tell with the coaching change. There are plenty of good things to be excited about. Kill and his staff have a clear plan and are going to execute it. There is a clear change in the level of dicipline and effort expected at all times. It is clear that Gray has worked his tail off to earn the starting QB spot and will be exciting to watch. McKnight keeps making highlight reel catches. Plenty of good story-lines on an individual level to be sure. And with all Spring practices being 100% open the media and fans are getting a much better look at this team. This is resulting in much better media coverage and more spring buzz about the Gophers then we've seen in a while.

That said, there are also plenty of things to be concerned about, mostly related to depth or inexperience in many key positions and the fact that the team is learning new schemes again. But on the whole, the vibe out of Spring practice has been very positive IMO.
