I hope those who are coming to Syracuse enjoy their stay in upstate NY. As you know the the last 4 years have been a disaster under Greg Robinson so we are looking forward to getting back some of lost respect we once had. I can tell you the came is close to a sell out so the atmosphere should be a lot of fun. We are one of the few college stadiums that sells beer at the game so come and have a great time.

What is the inside scoop on Paulus. Real D1 QB or just the best of the current lot?

Do they get a lot of walk-up normally? I see there are still nearly 12,000 tickets available. Most unsold college games get maybe a couple of thousand walk-ups this close to gametime.

I'll be there...

Paulus the big question

Greg paulus has been very good in practices from what we hear. It is hard to know anything about this team because all the practices have been closed so you guess is as good as most SU fans. I can tell you our new coach has been very tough with conditioning thus the 19 players who have quit to date. Our strength will be our running game. Delone Carter was Mr. Ohio football when he came to Syracuse. He suffered a serious injury at the beginning of his sophmore year and is now 100% for the game on Saturday.

The total tickets sold as of today are around 41000. WE do seem to get a large number of walk ups for some reason. If I had to guess I would say we will be around 47000 at game time.

Are these scholarship players? Or walk-ons?

If the latter, I can understand. But if a scholarship player walks out because of excessive conditioning, he is a pansy and deserves boatloads of mock and ridicule heaped upon him.

I hope they were all walk-ons.

I'm very sorry for what's about to happen to your team.

Gopher fans have experienced beer drinking at college FB games for the last 28 years so they should fit right in.
