I posted that it was obvious the Gophers were going to beat Michigan in 2014 (today). I posted
that Leidner was going to play and have a good day when everyone else was either asking for or expecting Streveler this week. I posted that Rodrick Williams is clearly our second best back.
As I also predicted Leidner did complete 14 passes.

So, I am accepting the first weekly self proclaimed "I Told You So dboy Award"!

We got the jug!!!! Thank you very much!

I am "shocked" that dboy is not posting right now.

Fruechte(sp) had a great first half at the very least

Nice work 60's Guy!

I'll admit, other than my predict the score (Minnesota 17, Michigan7), I wasn't too confident going into this game even though I knew they could show more than they had in the non-conference schedule. It's a great day to be a Gopher fan.

You were way ahead of me - I thought Gardner would start and Hoke would make a comeback. I'm happy you were right.

I confess, I had lost the ability to hope. Leidner restored my hope. SKI-U-MAH!!!

You did well. Of course, you are still the guy who posted a still picture from a practice as 'proof' that DRM will never be a good QB, so.....

I don't believe I said proof. I believe it is evidence he isn't a passing quarterback. And the jury is still out on that
being right or wrong. He could also improve or be corrected you know? What he was/is doing was/is unorthodox and I'm sorry if you can't understand/see that.

You're gloating today. Here you are 2 weeks ago when you were pretty sure that this staff was so inept that they didn't know how to coach. There were some other quotes also but you get the point. Can you say "chutzpah"?

"I believe this is a trend. I believe Nelson got worse the more he played as a Gopher. Mitch Leidner
was definitely better last year in games than he has played in games this year. He had fun playing and played with a swagger last year. There has been no evidence of either this year in his play. He is not without talent. ML looks good in practice.

Were Shortell's best performances among his first? Did Gray get better or actually regress as a quarterback?"

Woah. This is not the time to double down. This is the time to admit you were crazy to post such a thing. I can understand/see that. Whether he proves out to be or not to be, that single still picture isn't any more evidence that he isn't a passing QB than it is evidence that he likes hookers and blow.

Yup, and the real argument with you was that Leidner was better than Nelson. And that through the first three games that Leidner was worse this year than last year. You argued Nelson was better but agreed he went downhill but Leidner was garbage last year in your eyes or never was any good. So put it in context. I don't feel any differently today about anything I said. I also advocated Leidner over Streveler versus Michigan. I believed in Leidner. Leidner had a nice game versus Michigan today. I lobbied this was his normal performance capability.
How is that a change in position.

I also have said all along I'm very happy to have Jerry Kill as our head coach. That does not mean I think he is perfect or without flaws. He is my favorite Gopher football coach. Tell me we didn't coach better today than we did versus TCU?
