Well that was an exciting way to kickoff the weekend. Rutgers (3-3) rallied late defeating Michigan State in Piscataway 62-58. I think the Spartans, who led by four starting the fourth quarter, briefly opened a 10 point lead before the Scarlet Knights ramped up some mayhem. MSU never got into their offensive or defensive flow.

Jankoska was easily contained in the second half?

Northwestern defeated Indiana in Evanston 80-67. The Wildcats, in front of a good sized crowd including students and a number of Northwestern athletes, rushed out to a 23-12 first quarter lead. The Hoosiers fought back; but Northwestern entered the fourth quarter leading 57-46. From there, the Wildcats pretty much maintained the gap aided by two nice open court, back to back assists by Nia Coffey. The first went to Douglas and the second to Deary leading to an IU timeout. Coffey finished with 6 assists, 14 rebounds and 14 points.
