Go Gophers!!

Michael Dixon obviously doesn't know how the Gophers play at home. His prediction = wishful thinking.

Dixon is a dink.

I dunno, I can appreciate hyperbole on the level of "Can it get any worse? The answer’s yes, and a loss in Minneapolis could be the darkest moment in the program’s history."

Or perhaps he just missed the Bill Callahan era.

Losing to Minnesota three years in a row would be an unlivable indignity for Nebraska, something that couldn't have been imagined until recently. In our view, however, a huge debt of misery has yet to be paid by the folks in Lincoln. I won't live long enough to see it settled.

All good guesses. The Huskers haven't done well on the road this year. My only concern is they can stop the run. Then again, they haven't played any great rushing teams. That's not a stab at the badgers. Oh wait, yes that's a stab at the badgers.

Both teams are in such wonky states and played weird games. I duno.

I think for the most part Dienhart has been pretty high on Minnesota in the power ranking for much longer than most BTN beat writers

My biggest prediction statement I disagree with is the Nebraska beat writer Vanessa Daves. She states Nebraska's schedule has been harder then Minnesota's so a loss to #3 TCU and a pretty damn good #13 last week Northwestern team were harder games then any Nebraska has faced thus far.

CFN:

What’s Going To Happen?

Is Nebraska going to finally catch a break and finally get over the hump, or is this just the way the team is going to roll this year? Nebraska is a far better team than Minnesota with a far better offense, but the Gopher defense is set up the right way to pull off the home win. Nebraska will once again figure out how to lose.

Nebraska vs. Minnesota Prediction
Final Score: Minnesota 24, Nebraska 20, Line: Minnesota -2, o/u: 46.5

Teddy Greenstein Chicago Tribune:

Nebraska (plus 3) at Minnesota: Coach Mike Riley appropriately called the Cornhuskers' latest last-second loss a "broken record." The 2-4 record stinks, and this team might be broken. Go with the Gophers.

Detroit News:

Nebraska +2 at Minnesota

Charboneau: Minnesota

Chengelis: Minnesota

Niyo: Minnesota

Wojnowski: Nebraska
