Week 4 Team of the Week: Virginia -- Road wins @ Minnesota and Virginia Tech prove Tony Bennett's Cavaliers are figuring things out, and now they have sharp-shooter Sammy Zeglinski back in the rotation.

Week 4 Team of the Weak: Virginia Tech -- The Hokies started 2010-11 as the trendy pick to finish second to Duke in the ACC. After home losses to Purdue and Virginia, even with the NCAA Tournament field expanded to 68 teams Seth Greenberg's Hokies again appear headed toward the bubble. ... if they're lucky.

Hodger, maybe the world may discern that Seth is not a great coach? Constantly hovering around the bubble with no breakout seasons, constant whining about selection committee's decisions, etc. are making him an unattractive coach. They had Purdue and while Va may not be the patsy we envisioned when ESPN put them on our schedule, there is no excuse for the Hokies to lose both of those games.

I don't visit other message boards, but I would be curious about the form of meltdown the Hokie fanbase must be in now.

It will be a fascinating view on Selection Sunday to see Seth at number 69!

VT doesn't exactly care about basketball as long as Beamer and co. keep going to Orange Bowls. That said, I think another NIT may spell the end for Seth. With UVa as bad as it's been for the past many years, they certainly have not taken advantage. Bennett and company will be zooming by soon, if not this year. That won't sit well.

Va Tech

The ironic thing is, Greenberg finally put together a tough nonconference schedule, but they've whiffed on their best opportunities for quality wins (K-State, UNLV, Purdue). The only decent win they have is Okie State.
