Week 2 Coaches Poll

Though the only poll that matters doesn't come out until Oct. 28, am pleasantly surprised the pollsters were fair with Michigan State. They didn't punish Sparty too much (dropped 7 spots) for a competitive road loss (final score wasn't indicative of the game) to a top-shelf opponent. #13 is just about right. MSU still has the opportunity to make a gradual climb just like last season.

Baylor ranked #7 is an absolute joke. ... OVERrated. And why is South Carolina (#23) even ranked?

Shameless plug. ... If interested in following my college football or (moreso) college basketball takes, you're welcome to follow me on Twitter @Fieldof68Freak.

This poll makes no sense. Virginia Tech travels to the Horseshoe and beats TOSU by 14, and they are rated 19th while the team they beat is 18th? Come on Man. And in fact they are 2-0 and Wisconsin and Stanford are 1-1 is further proof.

I don't know. I would have Alabama at least ahead of Wisconsin.

you think rutgers AND maryland are better than Alabama?! sheesh.

who has or will Alabama play? They have shown nothing. In all honesty I know they are not number two and when I finished my top 4 I forgot about them. Honestly I think they should fall about Number 10 and everyone else drops. Sorry Wisconsin you are not a top 25 team.
