I want to see that pass interference call on Memphis again---I don't thin they did a replay...looked like a BS call

Wow. How many TD's in the last five minutes?

Trust me, that bum won't be coaching for Houston ever again. That sealed his fate. ;)

Nebraska has given up two LONG touchdowns. They look like crap so far.

Yep, Nebraska looks like total crap. So does Washington State- down 28-3 to UW

Iowa gets away with a severe target hit on Newby. I hate B1G officiating

No targeting on number 12 for the Hawkeyes?????????????? Wow what a hit to the head on Newby.

that was as bad as any targeting I have seen this season. they reviewed the play too. How that doesn't get called is beyond frustrating.

Absolutely agree. After replay they still didn't call it. The inconsistency is just ludicrous. Rallis gets a targeting call for a textbook tackle and that goes uncalled?

I don't think he'd be considered defenseless by rule.

Defenseless player—a player not in position to defend himself.

Examples (Rule 2-27-14):

A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass.
A receiver attempting to catch a pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect himself or has not clearly become a ball carrier.
A kicker in the act of or just after kicking a ball, or during the kick or the return.
A kick returner attempting to catch or recover a kick.
A player on the ground.
A player obviously out of the play.
A player who receives a blind-side block.
A ball carrier already in the grasp of an opponent and whose forward progress has been stopped.
A quarterback any time after a change of possession.

Being tackled by 2 other guys while the third guys knocks him out cold with his helmet, causing his momentarily lifeless body to bend in a sickening manner... Nope, not defenseless.

Have to tip the cap to Iowa offensive line too. The Gophers defense played them well except for the long running play late in the game.

Iowa player led with top of helmet. When he does that, by rule, the other player does not even need to be defenseless

I didn't write the rule, but I can read it.

Welp, unless something changes, probably good bye holiday bowl.

Nebraska is tackling like a high school team. Defense just looks terrible. I wish we would have gotten this kind of effort from them.

Nebby crapping the bed. There goes San Diego. Fa....................k!!!!!!!! If Armstrong doesn't have a a great half against us we beat them. Now I hope we drop down to Santa Clara. Not going to Nashville
