Weber- Stoudermire update

Adam Weber and Troy Stoudermire had their first exhibition game yesterday, a 21-17 win over Ottawa. Looking at the Riderfans.com website, consensus is that Weber outplayed 3rd stringer Seth Droege. Weber went 3-4 with a td and an interception (surprise, surprise). Droege played but appears to have no passing stats. The Riders number 1 QB, Damian Durant is the best player in the CFL while former Pitt Panther Tino Sunseri is the number 2 QB and has one year of CFL experience.

Stoudermire returned 3 punts for 54 yards- one return was for 41 yards and made a tackle on defense. They are also using Troy as an outside linebacker. American DBs often convert to LB in the CFL, they still spend most of their time in coverage but are used to blitz as well. It is probably a good fit for Troy.
