For all the talk earlier about how the Gophers would adjust to the heat, it will be an absolute non-factor. Thanks to a timely cold front, highs on Saturday in Fort Worth will be in the mid-upper 70s.

This is an underrated development. Divine intervention. If our players are cramping in the relatively mild conditions yesterday it would be a bloodbath in the usual conditions down there.

Exercise in real heat is really difficult if not accustomed and even then...Even 5-10 degrees makes a difference for my endurance and stamina. Now if it can just be cloudy we'll be rolling.
