When do the Gophers leave for West Lafayette?

Indiana is the state where the Clev in Cleveland is.:)

Sorry to interrupt whatever this thread is, but I do hope they make it there and can play the game, hopefully in front of a half-empty gym. I'd hate to see it pushed to Thursday and have to play two huge games in 48 hours.

Most of the heavy snow there is coming tonight and will be done by tomorrow morning. I'm assuming they flew out early today and probably beat the weather?

Game? What game?

Gophers are still stuck in the Twin Cities, can't get out tonight, will try and leave tomorrow morning.

Looks like the #Gophers haven't been able to fly into Indiana today w/ all the local weather. They'll try to get out tomorrow.

That's what I was afraid of. With all that snow I don't think they want to board a bus driving through Wisc, Chicago, Gary and south. The storm was not a surprise. This shouldn't happen.

Anyone ever flown to Lafayette?

I once flew out of Lafayette. The guy who took my ticket and baggage was also the guy who directed the plane out to the tarmac using two orange flags to tell the pilot where to go. It's not one of your "urban" hubs for travel.

Here's to hoping the boys get their beauty rest on the plane and that the same guy drives the snow plow!!!

Here's hoping he doesn't lose any baggage.

Here's hoping the poor weather hurts the Purdue crowd. Maybe it'll be like a morgue in Mackey Arena, similar to like it is for most Penn State home games. It's not like we're Indiana or Michigan State coming for a visit, so I think Purdue fans sitting on the fence whether to attend the game may decide on the comfort of their EZ chairs. Any little edge we can get we'll take, especially considering the Gophers' rancid road history.

Free admission tonight for Purdue students with a student ID.

Folks in this area are "Atlanta-esque" when it comes to snow. Many fans comes from rural areas within 1-2 hours of campus. Mackey will be dead tonight.

Game could come down to which team can generate the most energy in a (mostly) lifeless arena. That usually helps the road team, but with the Gophers' history it's not something I'll count on.

They will still have 7,000-8,000 people tonight. Purdue should just open the gates to anyone for free. If it fills up that's a good problem to have.

I don't think it would matter if there were 2 people in the crowd, I have little confidence in this team on the road over the last few years. Hope they can start changing that trend tonight.
