Yea! Special teams get the game ball first. Traye Simmons gets a little redemption.

Congrats on the win. Does it feel better to win outside?

He does, but his fumble recovery was all luck and his interception was WAY over thrown. Doesn't take a lot of talent to make those plays.

I thought Onwauchi made some very athletic plays. Coop looks solid. If Pam Ward has a spotter, he should be shot. She had a horrible game as did big Ray. Whew, what a crew. Our high school play by play crew on FSN is superior to this bunch. Brew stunk it up again and Fisch was horrible.

way to enjoy the win for all of a minute. will you ever be happy with the coaches

Yea for the running game too, almost 5 yards per carry today. This will be one of the keys to the season with our inconsistent passing game, although I still don't think Weber is as bad as some think on this board.

Good win.

The O-line was much better blocking the run game today. The RBs did a good job of finding the hole but on several plays the RBs had 10 yards before any Purdue player was close to the ball carrier. The defense and special teams made enough big plays to help the offense put points on the scoreboard. It was nice to see the team get to the 1 and hammer it in for touchdowns. Troy S is the best special teams player in the Big Ten he had two great tackles today with a couple of nice returns. The Gophers continue to struggle to put 60 minutes together but in the end its about winning games and the Gophers won by 15 today and dominated the game for the final 3 quarters.

Hey, I think we're all happy to win, but it's year three and the team looks absolutely terrible at times. I still see a lot of positives and hope Brewster can continue to improve. Who knows, he might just turn out to be a great coach.

Man, Purdue is a laughably bad football team. As dark as things may seem here at times just repeat to yourself at least we're not Purdue.

I definitely feel a much greater sense of pride this season than any other season in the Dome. Our 4-2 record isn't anything that great. I'm not totally sold on Brewster, but the home games showcase a decent college football atmosphere for once. Thus, the sense of pride and hope. I don't see this season being any better than any of Mason's years here but I have a sense that the program can get over the hump someday. The recruiting is better. We have a real home field advantage. The question mark in my mind, near term, is whether Brewster and Co. can do something with the opportunity.

If you're going to rag on him you'd do well to correctly identify the fumble recovery as picking up a blocked punt. Oddly they aren't the same.

Dude, Purdue is far from a bad team. They Almost beat Oregon and Notre Dame and we handed them there biggest loss of the season so far. Purdue isn't the greatest, but they certainly have a solid team.

Okay D bag. He's horrible. I'll rag on him all I want.

They just have H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E special teams and no mental toughness.

You can't tell the difference between a blocked field goal and a fumble and I'm a dbag? Yikes. I never said he wasn't playing like crap (cause he is), I just think its hilarious that you managed to make yourself look like such an idiot while complaining about him.

Your a D Bag for even referencing that fact. Get a life. We won today. Living in Madison? Figures

Oh you are rich. I'm a dbag for calling out the guy who spends his time ragging on a player who made 2 huge plays today. You're on a message board ragging on college kids. What a big shot you are. I'm not the one complaining after a win. I enjoyed the game. You're the one taking a W and using it to go after a starter.

And I love how you are trying to call me a Badger. How many wisky fans do you know have over 1800 posts on their rival's board. You have no idea how f-ing hard I'm laughing at you right now. Just man up, recognize you made a stupid post, stop digging a hole, and move on.

Make sure you petition the NCAA to put an asterisk by his stats so that they're fully qualified. Maybe we should track INTs on the basis of whether they were well-thrown or not: INT-WT and INT-BT. (BT=Badly Thrown)

TDs could be further broken out by "TD-LT" (against a Lousy Team) or "TD-L" (Lucky).
