Kill turned us into a lean maroon fighting machine. Think about it. Kill is our version of Sargent Hulka and David Cobb is our big toe. We're no longer the lowly gopher.
 

You are absolutely correct. This is one tough team, especially on D. Going back to last year when our offense continually gave WI and Mich St. the ball in great field position, the D had no fear or panic, just went out and did their Job. Even in the TCU game, you could argue the D played pretty good given the situations they were put in. Kill has always said that the offense takes longer to develop/mature than the D. I'm hopeful the offense is developing a toughness similar to the D. The line pounding on a good front 7, driving for 3 despite being backed up before half, hitting some key 3rd (and 4th) down passes, and Cobb carrying defenders, all in front of 100,000 is hopefully the start of some of that toughness.
