Lucky for us we were going 45 in a 50 and then reported it as 51. Meanwhile UNC lapped us 15 times and took their penalty to court where they were given no fine.

I mean, we still do have the banners and the trophies, right? What good are they doing sitting in a closet, and what's the difference whether they're kept in the dark or in the light of day? If I were the U, I'd take the position that displaying them makes no statement as to their validity; they're just being displayed as decorations and curios. If I'm not mistaken, the University of Washington claims one of our football national championships, and nobody begrudges their claim, at least as far as I've heard.

I’d hang them up. But honestly it’s almost 30 years ago now and I doubt it really matters to any prospective players anyway
