In the Burned RS topic I posted that we ran into the Cashmans on the Washington St. Elevator.
Blake said Winfield's injury wasn't serious and thought that he would be ready for Purdue. When
I asked about Duke McGee he said he didn't know. "Dr. Death" even with the target issues is one of our best tacklers. He's in the lineup yesterday and he wraps those two RB's up at point of impact. Too many times yesterday they got away for extra yards. Same as if Winfield was there,
especiay on the edge. JMO......

Despite the bad taste we all have in our mouths from yesterday, we probably win the game if Duke and Winfield are playing.

Despite the bad taste we all have in our mouths from yesterday, we probably win the game if Duke and Winfield are playing.

And we lost by only one touchdown with game in doubt in 4th quarter. This was a team that manhandled Texas. Still, Gophers were flat in the first half, missed lots of tackles and had a brainless offensive plan that wasted down after down.
