After watching tonight the Mich St/Texas game along with the Kansas/Cal game...it's apparent that it would sure be nice if we had a point guard who could beat his man off the dribble (which we have) but then stop and shoot and make a basket (which we don't have) .... In other words, a huge hole in our offense. Can strong defense and assists make up for that lack of scoring? Maybe with some non top 25 teams, certainly not with the stud teams. Again, just throwing that thought out there after watching some really talented top teams tonight.....

I agree. Al Nolan is a very solid player and I love his effort and leadership, but if he could shoot we'd be a very tough offense to stop. Teams pretty much ignore him when he doesn't have the ball.
