We have Pirsig video....

Those are some big boys.

Sign him up.

Can you imagine a line of him, the Olsen's and Gjere? Wow.

Yes the pair of the Blue Earth Boys would be great additions to Minnesota. Hey boys, come on up! You won't regret it!

Pirsig looks like he would have incredible upside because he seems pretty athletic for a 6'9" 300 lbs kid, but he didn't look incredibly strong to me. When I compare him to Tommy Olson's highlight tape, there seems to be a pretty big difference to me. It seemed like Tommy Olson was absolutely crushing his opponents, Pirsig looks good, but he not as dominant.

I will say that with his frame and apparent athleticism, if he is able to get stronger he has a upside much higher than Tommy Olson.

That said, both of those kids would be pickups.

Holy sh*t. That is one humongous, athletic young man. Really gets off the ball well, has a nice motor, and can absolutely fly for a big man. A good senior year followed by a redshirt year will do him wonders as he appears very raw to me. His pass pro is pretty terrible (frequently sets up on the wrong foot and "leans" forward) and he gets high pretty quickly coming off the ball. But man, what potential that kid has. LMAO at that first clip too...poor little fella. And BTW, how in the world did that team lose a game? Two kids like that, plus what appears to be a pretty serviceable back...man, I figured they'd be dominating those little schools they play.

He will have to redshirt I'm sure. We have a pretty good crop of OL ahead of him and he plays in a weak conference, playing a lot of 3A and 2A schools. I saw one of their games last year where they ran the ball the first 5 plays of the game and every play went for over 10 yards.

If you are taking this from the latest rivals article, then I'm not sure you understand how rivals articles work.

I would say calling him a Badger or a Buckeye at this point is extremely premature. It does appear he is an excellent prospect. It would not surprise me at all if his choice came down to Minnesota, Wisconsin and OSU.

I'm hearing he's a Badger or Buckeye at this point.

False. My relatives in the Blue Earth area have told me that the people closest to him have been saying he will be a Gopher if he is convinced of the direction of the program under Kill. So I guess we will wait and see his feelings towards the new staff.

Is it a possibility he goes to Madison or OSU, sure it is, but right now I like the Gophers chances better than everyone else's for a couple reasons:

- Kill has shown us early here by nabbing Nelson and McDonald that he has been showing these kids something to believe in; not to mention Webb, Dunbar, Hayes being very excited about the program).

- Kill comes from the exact same background as Jonah and I foresee them relating very well with one another and his family.

Great insight thanks. I agree with the other posters that it's waaay too early to assume he's going one place or another. But you make an interesting point about Kill coming from a similar small town background and that (hopefully) making a difference in our favor.
