of seat selection.

Has anyone on this board selected their seats yet?

I am curious how the process went....smooth? not so smooth?

If anyone has any information I would appreciate hearing it. For instance, someone was speculating that the reason so many parking lots were blacked out was to make sure others were filled first, someone else thought it might be a glich in the system, etc... Does anyone know if either is true?

If you put the cursor over an available parking lot, on the right side where it tells you the number of available spots it also has a note saying that blacked out areas are unavailable until future demands them open (or something like that).
So no, they are not full, they are just unavailable.

Our selection time was Tuesday afternoon, March 31. After logging on and identifying the available seats, confusion reigned because seats that were red and were supposed to be unavailable, still showed up as available when we placed the cursor over them. This didn't seem right, based upon the instructional video we had watched several times, so we selected seats that were still green and they turned blue, as they were supposed to, while our transaction was pending.

After successfully selecting seats, we went to the parking lot screen and had no luck at all selecting a parking lot. We'd place our cursor over a lot and click, but nothing would happen. If we went to the "submit selection" box, we got a message instructing us to place our cursor over the parking lot map, which we did, with the same result. After trying several times, we gave up and called the help line. Fortunately it was answered right away and, when we explained our problem, the rep told us that the parking lot screen was not working and that she would walk us through a process that would allow her to make our parking lot selection over the phone. When we finished this step, the rep asked if we wanted to pay now or be invoiced. We elected to pay now and she said she would put us on hold while she printed the invoice. At this point, we got disconnected. We called back and, of course, got a different rep, who took our name and got the invoice from the first rep, who was on the phone with somebody else, and completed our transaction. We have yet to receive an email confirmation of our selections, but when we go to the seat selection site, it shows our selections in the boxes at the bottom of the page.

Sounds like they have some work to do to shore this thing up... Glad you got it done and I hope the confirmation confirms everything correctly for you once you get it...

gopheraddict, what were your Seat Ranking Numbers?

Hmm..makes you wonder if:
A. Go down in person...
B. Fill out the form that has the ticket office select for you....
Ours come up April 16th, so wehave some time to have them get the bugs worked out. Don't like the 10.00 charge to do it on line though.

I think the $10.00 will be on regardless of how you do it...that has always been the handling fee, even if we brought the renewal in person to the office. I think it is just always on a season ticket order for all of their sports (I know it's that way for hockey too).
