A competitive schedule and the Gopher’s winning streak have created a steady interest in tickets. Mike Nowakowski of Ticket King says tickets for next week’s border battle are turning fast.
Depending on how Wisconsin does this weekend, the prices could climb as demand goes up.
“In years past, it was all Badger fans buying tickets from us,” Nowakowski said. “This year, we’re seeing a lot more Gopher fans. We’re shipping a lot less tickets to Green Bay or Milwaukee.”
For now, the Gopher bandwagon rolls on, picking up more fans along the way.
“I don’t think we’re going to have a problem with attendance,” Wilson said.
