how nice would it be to have a guy like Vasquez for Maryland? I don't even mean from a talent standpoint. Obviously he's a great player (probably ACC player of the year) and he would make any team in the country better. But he's a firery guy, it's obvious he's the leader on the floor. He makes Maryland go.

By the way, why the hell isn't the Kansas-Kansas St. game on tv? It's on ESPN360 only.

Especially since A&M v Ok St is on ESPN2. Must be like the early days of ESPN2 when they put Duke / UNC on there to encourage people to call their cable operator.

It was on Full Court and on the Big 12 Network. ESPN went with Duke (what a surprise) vs Maryland...

Duke-Maryland

From start to finish, Maryland-Duke was one of the best college basketball games I've seen this season. Fantastic game, fantastic crowd and just as importantly Dukie V was nowhere in sight. Maryland is a fun team to watch. Gary Williams looks as relaxed (not sure that word is in his vocabulary) as I've ever seen him. I think he likes his team a lot. I will like them when the brackets come out.

Because the Big 12 has a terrible TV deal. Anytime someone wants to complain about the Big Ten Network...remember this. Many weeknight games in most other lmajor conferences are not on widely-distributed TV. They are on regional outlets, local outlets, on-line only, or not on TV at all. Heck, it wasn't but four years ago that Tuesday's game between MN-MICH would have only been on in Minnesota and Michigan. Or, last night's Wisconsin-Iowa game would have only been on in Iowa and Wisconsin. Now, we get to see EVERY Big Ten men's game. We are spoiled to the point that we forget that. KU-KSU not being on regular TV is how it has always been in the Big 12.

The issue for me was that Texas A&M and Oklahoma St. was on ESPN2 at the same time. They play in the Big 12 also.

Nice to see that the 4th place Badgers beat the co ACC champs.

I am sure the talking heads will be all over that one.
