it just wasn't our day yesterday. all the breaks really just seemed to go the iowa hogeyes way and they perfectly executed their offensive game plan, which they needed to do. i am not off the bandwagon at all and really believe our boys still have it in them to do some good things THIS season. again, it just wasn't going to be our day yesterday. knew it almost immediately when that deep bomb to barker on our first drive of the game was miraculously picked out of his hands by iowa's DB for an INT. sounds 20/20, i know. but just seemed to sense it was going to be "that kind of day" when that happened. i personally think it changed the "tone" of the game from that point forward even thought it was SO EARLY in the game. lit a fire in the hogeyes and got them amped.
