WAC to add Cal State-Bakersfield and Utah Valley in 2013-14

At least for now that means the WAC will keep its NCAA Tournament automatic bid. Was hoping the WAC would just go away, thus creating another at-large bid.

Man, that is a sorry-looking conference these days. Kinda sad, really. Their NCAA Tournament qualifiers were always a fun watch in the first and second rounds (Nevada, Utah State, UTEP, et al.) Nick Fazekas! Carl English! Kirk Snyder!

WAC

New Mexico State usually has been pretty solid, too, though they don't have the NCAA tourney wins (recently) to back it up. They put quite a scare into Michigan State a couple years ago when Sparty was on its way to a Final Four.
